During my stay at Kalkedon, Muhammet and Mehmet went above and beyond to make my experience in Istanbul unforgettable. They provided fantastic local recommendations, including an incredible dinner spot that only locals know about. The hostel itself is brand new and impeccably clean, with beds that are just as comfortable as a hotel. The location is perfect, just a short walk from the vibrant streets of Kadikoy. I will definitely be returning to Kalkedon in the future. I highly recommend this hostel for an amazing stay in Istanbul.

I had a really enjoyable stay at this hotel! the prices were incredibly reasonable, offering great value for money. The attention to detail was evident throughout, with clean and sanitized areas. The location was perfect, with many cafes and restaurants nearby. Additionally, the staff were friendly and provided excellent service. I particularly liked the rooms with private bathrooms next to the reception, which were comfortable and had a TV. The breakfast provided was also a great start to the day!
All in all, my stay at this hotel was fantastic – nothing to complain about!

Spent Christmas at this hostel and enjoyed it! The staff was super friendly and accommodating. The room was comfortable, and I loved the free Wi-Fi and the hot shower. The hostel is located in a great area, with easy access to public transport and plenty of restaurants within walking distance. The highlight of my stay was the beautiful Christmas decorations throughout the hostel.
While the hostel was enjoyable, it did have some drawbacks. There were no towels and no trash bin in our private room.

The hotel offered two great facts that truly stood out! First, the staff was very welcoming and cheerful, making us feel at home. Second, the decorations for New Year's Eve were amazing! the hotel was located right in the heart of the city, which was perfect to enjoy the New Year's fireworks! the location also offered easy access to many restaurants and shops, making our stay very convenient. we enjoyed the free breakfast every morning, which was very tasty.
The room was in need of an upgrade. the bedding and carpet were old and worn, and the bathroom needed some extra cleaning.

This hotel truly offers great value for money. The prices are reasonable and you get all the basic amenities you need for a comfortable stay. The location is ideal, close to the ferries and within walking distance of interesting cafes and bars. The staff is friendly and attentive, especially the woman who went out of her way to help us with our room issue. The rooms with private bathrooms, located next to the reception, provide convenience and privacy. Plus, it's a bonus to have a TV in the room.
All in all, everything was just fine.

The location of this hostel is convenient for those who want to explore the ferry terminals. Within a short walk, you can easily get to the ferry to go across the river. there are several cafes and bars to sit nearby. the room is a bit spacious with comfortable seats, and it is decently clean.
The staff here lacked communication skills, and we struggled to understand each other.
